I like to tent camp but getting older I decided to try out camping in my car. Lucky for me I fit in my 2017 Ford Focus. I watched several videos on the topic and began to set up my car for a short test run. It was easy with the help of watching many videos. The videos about using a Toyota Prius were especially helpful as my Focus was about the same size. The big difference my car did not have the electrical generation and battery pack of the Prius. I think I solved that with getting a solar generator and a small lithium battery to charge my lights and phone. But it appears when I drive I can charge things up with the USB connections already in the Focus. I also bought a few more items to help. A USB battery charger, a 12 volt plug in device that tells me car battery charge and temperature. The big thing was getting black out panels for the windows but I think I managed that. I also had a few tent camping items on hand that I can use in the Tent Car. I have a few You Tube videos that show what I have done so far to get it set up and will do more blog posts and videos as I make improvements. Take a look at my first video. It is poor quality but you see how I began setting up the Tent Car.
